Welcome to Somos Costa Atlantica (SCA). We are a non-profit organization providing services and programs to disadvantaged individuals and groups.  We also provide assistance to other non-profit organizations and local governmental agencies in Nicaragua that provides serivices to the community.  SCA is not afilliated or has any connection with any political parties.

You can count on SCA's leadership in times of Hardship.   Our Board members are proven leaders within the Atlantic Coast community.

Dr. Gonzalo Gradiz brings a wide variety of experiences, education and skills to SCA.  His education includes Associates in Arts Degree in Bi-lingual Journalism (English/Spanish) from San Francisco City College.  He obtained a Certificate in Atlanta Georgia in National and International Hotel Management  He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ministry, from the Pacific Institute of Theology, Lindsay California.  He also obtained a Masters and a Doctorate Degree in Theological Studies from the Philadelphia Christian University, San Francisco, California.  His thesis was “Marriage” as base of the Society.  He is a Professor of Theology at the Philadelphia Christian University.  Dr. Gradiz also had formal management training in Chicago, Illinois.  He is also a youth leader Master Guide/PA Professor for the State-wide Central California Conference in San Francisco, California.  His focus is on “how to keep young people out of gangs, drugs, etc.  He develops workshops and conferences around these topics.  He is an ecclesiastical leader and a Ministry Counselor.  He has developed conferences and conducted workshops around the topic of “The Family” values of the Human Being.
Dr. Gradiz also provides speeches, workshops and training in national and international hotel management, tourism as a logistical support, training and development.
 He currently work in the Human Relation Department of the City and County of San Francisco.

Professor Fernando Budier is a retired teacher from Bluefields, Nicaragua.  Professor Budier now lives in Miami Florida and continues to work with his community in Florida.  Professor Budier brings integrity and a strong family value to the organization.  He is well knowned by his community.  Professor Budier was an excellent baseball player in Nicaragua.
